    Dogging (DG) – CPCCLDG3001 = $1599

    This course teaches the safe operation of tower cranes in line with site and safety regulations. You’ll learn how to interpret load charts, manage crane movement, and apply signaling procedures. Designed for those pursuing high-risk work licences in crane operation.

    Self Erecting TC (CS) – CPCCLTC4002 = $1999

    Train to operate self erecting tower cranes in real-world conditions with confidence. This course covers site setup, signaling, load control, and emergency shutdown procedures. Suitable for new entrants and workers upskilling in construction, infrastructure, or industrial environments.

Our training 

At Central Coast Training, we focus on delivering practical, hands-on training that prepares you for the real demands of high-risk work. Our courses combine nationally recognised theory with simulated or live-site learning environments to help you build the confidence and skills you need to step onto site safely and competently.

Training may be delivered through a mix of:

  • Classroom-style sessions – covering essential theory, safety requirements, and regulatory knowledge

  • Simulated practical activities – using real equipment in controlled conditions to practise slinging, signaling, and crane operation

  • On-site assessments – where available, some assessments may take place on actual worksites or in partnership with local industry

  • Flexible scheduling – including weekday and weekend options, depending on course demand

All training and assessment is delivered in partnership with Halo Nation Training Pty Ltd (RTO 32485), ensuring that you receive high-quality, compliant, and nationally recognised outcomes.

    Today, as our Managing Director and Lead Trainer, Leighton leads from the front — ensuring that every course we deliver is grounded in real-world knowledge and practical skills.

    Known for his calm, approachable teaching style, Leighton is passionate about supporting students to develop the confidence and capability they need to succeed on-site and beyond.
